5sp man from 200 six

i was just planning for my future first car (yes, i know its sad) and i was wondering a 5speed from a 200 six would be strong enough for a 250?
if it did, would a 3.2 or a 3.9 rear end be better?

The 5spd box from the 200 is absolute shyte...they will break pretty quick behind a stock 250.

Ditto. That's the only opinion I've ever heard, from numerous quarters.

You will need a new bellhousing, clutch plate, speedo cable, gbox x-member & tailshaft, apart from that it will go straight in!
Try Castlemaine Rod Shop or Dellow Automotive (02) 9774 4419 for kits.
