i have a 1981 xd and its a manuel 4 speed 6 cylender what i would like to no if a 302 clev will bolt up to it and can i run a cable or is hydrualic a must as the v8 will be stock and im guessing that the bell housing will have to be changed

you will need the V8 complete with flywheel, clutch, a V8 bellhousing, clutch fork, and convert to hydraulic.

thanks for your info so the six box will fit up just gota change the bellhousing and the flywheel fork and go hydro....that bellhousing would just bolt up im guessing that would be a normal part not somthing that i have to get made or is hard to find...thanks again WBT56
