86 ranger loose gearshift need advice
I have an 86 ranger 2wd, 2 ltr, 5 speed manual overdrive i am pretty sure the trans in it is the toyo koyo problem is the ball at the end of shifter stick has come off i need to know if there is a way to get that from an after market source the dealer here says only can get entire assembly if not able to get replacement for ball need to know if there is any glue out there that would hold the teflon ball to the metal shaft , original ball has some rough spots but biggest problen is that where according to the parts diagram i got from ford there is supposed to be a sleave at the top of it as part of the ball
any suggestions?
