cool 9 inch diff for XF

I've got a 1985 XF Station Wagon and i can get a 9 inch diff of a 1983 XE Panel van for cheap.

Question: Should i do it? Is it worth the trouble or not.
Will it fit????

Thanks in advance

are you planning to work the engine like bigtime if you are going bout 350hp then yeah a 9" will be good other wise it is overkill (and bloody heavy too) go for a 8 inch out of a ZJ Fairlane V8 they have LSD, Discs, fairly tough and bout half the weight of a 9" and verry cheap (i scored one off a mate complete for 100 bucks!!!) hope this sheds some light for ya

What V8Uteman351 said.

I wouldn't bother unless you plan to go full sick on the engine and g/box. Many quick XF's getting around on stock diffs, no probs.
