well me stock eb has a ratio of 3.27 atm

im putting a stage 2 crow cam full zorst and headers and cool air indut

whats a good ratio to have for 1st 2nd gear good accleration ??


ne surgestions ?

id consider a 3.45 LSD out of an ED XR or if you want even better acceleration go for 3.7 LSD. but in the wet these can get tail happy very easily if you dont know what your doing.

With a good set of tyres a 3.7 is a good compromise

use crane 2031 cam and throw those e7 heads out and get some gt40p heads,and au or after market intake

XR8-EBS, i think you may have put that in the wrong place.
GT-40 heads gives it away.

Am I the only person on this forum who has fit 4.11 gears? I ask because whenever one of these diff questions comes up no one ever suggests 4.11's.

I fitted 4.11:1 gears into my EA S with the LSD and it was bloody good. It gave you a great kick in the rear on launch and fuel economy wasnt really affected much at all.

Unfortunately I blew that diff but the crownwheel and pinion are still good so as soon as I buy another LSD center it's going back in.

As a matter of interest, anyone know where I can get an LSD center for an EA? All I want is the center, I dont want the crownwheel or anything. Everyone in my area says they'll only sell me the full rear axle, or at best, the center with crownwheel and pinion. I dont mind buying from Australia if they are willing to ship to NZ.
