Nettie Registered User Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 2	94 Explorer transmission - reverse goes forward Okay, so here's the deal. I just picked up a 94 Explorer Limited. Very cheap, since it needs work done. The first project is the transmission. It has not been looked at by anyone yet, so I'm looking for ideas on what to try. It shifts fine, drives fine, etc... but when you put it in reverse, it basically goes into drive. You go forward, not in reverse. So I can't park anywhere I need to back up! Any ideas on what I might look at first?
