Kista Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 1	95 f150 w/ mazda tranny, putting it back together I finally decided to tear into the mazda 5 speed my truck has because the shifter was wore out and the 3 rubber plugs were leaking. I'm at the point now where I'm putting it back together but when I bolt the top plate back onto the tranny the shifter will not budge. I knew to come in from the bottom of the plate and move the piece that is spring loaded then I pushed the shifter in. So now I need to know what I'm doing wrong and how to put this back together.
