cool 96 ford trans funky shifting

hi my 96 f-350 tubo stroker trans has been acting funny it will be warming up for 10 miles or so , and for nothing i can find ,act like it is in nutral then go back to working. it has had a hevy duty torque converter installed 2 years ago and some sort of pump mod pulls fine shifts fine when it happens it sometimes goes into protection mode od lite blinks if i turn it off and on again it clears. please help i like to work on my own equipment.

Does it have enough of the correct fluid ?
