MichaelS Registered User Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 1	97 Ranger Tranny LOUD on deceleration - what's up? My 97 Ranger only has 97K miles, but it sounds like the manual transmission is falling apart when I let off the accelerator while moving in 2nd 3rd and 4th gears. It shifts fine. Is it a bearing? Easy to fix? 1st and 5th seem to be OK. How's your Ranger manual tranny? Any ideas? -Michael
