Re: alloy tailshaft

What gearbox, body style?

If you're not driving a manual you're really just steering.

Re: alloy tailshaft

I dont think you can use them as a blank to shorten or put in another car because they are injection filled with something, I was told this by a master technician that works at a ford service depot. He had one of the BA shafts(shell type unknown) and the box yoke fitted in but it was too long he looked into getting it modified to suit my car and they wouldn't do it. Could be wrong tho.

Why? One good compression lockup, one stone dent, and they are scrap.

Re: alloy tailshaft

the only good thing about them is the weight they may be ok for a track car with a smaller vehicle weight.
