Anyone know where to find an exploded view of a transmission?

does anyone know where to find an exploded view of a transmission online. its a manual transmission out of a 94 4.0 (the mazda tranny).

i need to rebuild mine most likely and im gonna see if i can do it myself since if i cant im gonna have to spend the money to buy a rebuilt one, and if i can, well then i saved myself a little bit of money.

i have looked some, but was unable to find any, but i am still looking.

if anyone knows where i can find some good pictures or any other useful information, it will be much appreciated.

thanks in advance

jason

Hmmm let's see here... Get one transmission, add one 1/4 stick of dynamite, stand back and have a camera set to take a pic when there is a loud noise! :D

Seriously, I dunno man. I looked all over the local parts stores for chilton's manuals, etc. about that tranny and no luck. Sorry man, the best thing is to keep everything in order and labeled. One part out of sequence or misaligned and you'll be double ****ed!

Later,
Ben

lol

ya, well my dad and i looked at it liek this, we can spend money in the upwards of 800+ dollares for a tranny (non rebuilt) or try to rebuild mine, and if we screw it up, we have to go buy a new one, but if we fix it, then we saved outself some money.

jc, thanks for the link, that is better than the one i had. the pic is almost the same, but this is slightly bigger, and the parts description is better.
