I'm looking at the cost of an LSD for my EB XR8 with a ratio of 3.23 or higher. Off of what car could I get one and approximately how much for it? Anybody know?

I bought an ED diff 28 spline, LSD and 3.23 for $350 from the local wrecker in perfect condition. I think they were the same from EA to ED but changed for the EF - One of the E series blokes should be able to help you there.

Hey Bluovel, I'm pretty sure that the complete diff, including housing out of an NA Fairlane, DA LTD, would do the job. If u like, I know a bloke with an NA wreck, I dont know if he still has the diff, but if u like I can find out for ya. I'm in Perth!

To my knowledge, NA Fairlands and DA LTDs had 2.77 LSDs with the 3 speed, or 3.08s with the 4 speed automatic (series II). Something like an EB or ED Fairmont Ghia or XR diff might be a better bet.

is the ED mounting points etc the same as EA. I the trailing arm bushes apparently were diffrent
