It is possible. The main problem is that the Selector Rod in the BA goes in the Opposite Direction to the AU. I know one of the SA Tickford Club guys has done this on his AU but i cant remember how.
Falkeen has also done this - but the button doesn't work. He tells me it's not a problem, but I would be worried that the car can slip out of gear too easily (justa small nudge, and if you're on cruise, you hit the rev limiter real quick).
