I am about to get my transmission serviced, and I was going to get an adjustable AU S5 solenoid put in so I can get rid of the electronic shift kit.
Does anyone have an idea as to how much to adjust these things for a comfortable yet crisp shift?
My transmission guy hasn't done one before, and I would appreciate any input to avoid the trial and error of taking the pan off and dumping the fluid to make an adjustments.

Id probably say start with the default position on the solenoid, then wind it a turn or so to increase pressure.
Unfortunately, I dont think there is any way to pre-set the pressure, it would be a matter of trial and error.

Thanks for that.
Aparently they come setup for standard AU pressure, which is a bit firmer than the e-series pressures, so I will try the default setting and go from there.
