AU Tranmission Repair.

Does this price look right.

They said it's normal wear and tear for 120,000km's. Anyone else confirm this? :(

Re: AU Tranmission Repair.

Doesnt look to bad for the work done maybe a little high, given the cost of the parts and effort involved having recently doen my 4 speed auto myself.

filter kit $35
fluid 4 litres $40

seals are about 10-20 dollars each

and labour at $50 per hour

I did put something here, but it vanshied, I think

"So long and thanks for all the fish!"

Re: AU Tranmission Repair.

I agree with Sox, its not the cheapest but not the worst,

THe remove and replace on the extension housing and diff pinion seem alittle over the odds but the rest are fair

All that $$ for a few leaks is abit of a pi$$er though

Fkn oath.

Given that I've spent so much on the car already.

4 new rotors
New Pads
4 new tyres (It had remoulds from the dealer which shredded)
Major Service (Once again, was carried out by the dealer before purchase, and wasn't done properly)

I finally decided to start modding it

CAI
Filter
Was just about to start on the audio and interior.. and now this :(
