I am planing on rebuilding my motor at the end off the year...I will be aiming to get just over 400bhp out of the 302 (without stroking it)... If you can gurantee me that the box will last behind this motor I will buy it off ya... I've tried asking ford to find out how strong these boxes are but they keep telling me to ask BTR which I have tried contacting several times without any reply.....

I am pretty sure it will be OK.If you are useing a 5Litre it won't be a problem.400hp out of a 302 won't have the huge Torque that might hurt these auto's

Yes it will bolt straight in,the bolt pattern is the same and rear cross member will bolt up no problems.

Spoke to Bayford Motors Transmission dept. There is no problem at all in fitting and running the AU trans in your EB
