Hi,
Just brought a 98 au xr8, with 50,000 km on the clock, now i know these cars had diff problems, now being 5 years on, whats the best fix for them? mine has a slite clunk in it! I do have a 1 year dealer warnty with the car, and i would like it fixed!
If i could get some info, so i could get the dealer to do it right first time that would be great???

Get the diff shimmed. They remove the centre and shim the LSD cones then set the diff up a with a bit finer tolerances takes most of the lash out, and the LSD brake off point is higher. Had my EBGT done then later my XR8, and now my T3 workes a treat.
