It is a VCT and an AUTO and it seams to have a rough sorta gearchange, like its a little bit jurky, is this ok or should me be worried?????? I think the car just wants to fly and when im crusing around slow it seams to do this, but when i plant it, it doesnt seam to do it.

If you are running the gearbox in power mode it tends to shift a bit quicker. I reprogrammed mine to run this way as the manual says. I thought the same thing when I first got mine as I had heard how good the 4 speeds were supposed to be. Are you running yours in adaptive mode or did you reprogram yours? Do you know anyone else who has one to compare to?

Hahah i re programed it, its running in Performance mode, it certainly kicks along harder then when i first got it. Its easy to program it between either the Performance, Economy or Adaptshift, just select either 1,2 or 3 and then turn the key onto 2, then put it in R and wait for the Econ light to flash on the dash 3 times, piece of piss really.

So do you think that this is why its changing a little hardcore???"

I generally leave mine in Adaptive shift. I'll reprogram mine to performance mode and let you know my car goes.

Thanks Dark horse, it just depends where i am, sometimes i even put it in Economy, shit is that car gutless then, fells like a 1.6 litre Laser.

There was a very slight 'jerkiness' in Performance mode, other than that the car felt like normal.

Has your car done its first service yet?
