Auto to manuel

Hello guys would it be possible to convert a escort to manuel in my driveway how high would the car have to be. and how heavy would the auto be.

ps if i supply the mechanic all the parts to put in the manuel how much do u reckon he would charge.

Well high enough to get under, at least :)
Now I'm not an Escort person, but if I can drop a Falcon auto onto my chest and roll the creeper out from under the car with it, the Escort box shouldn't be any heavier than that.
I reckon, since it's about 5 or 8 hours job, he'd charge more than the box cost ya

I made my own.
Tree stumps and stacked bricks or spare wheels work well :)

Most of the axle stands I see are too low, designed only for changing tyres/brake pads.
While the car ramps available work, they really get in the way I find.

Basically I think you might just have to look around for something high enough, I think I might have seen a set in Toolmart for like $70 which would do.
