Hey guys. I was surfing round Ebay and saw this auto shift kit: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....495228385&rd=1

I have seen this guy selling them and he seems to get good feedback. But I was wondering if anyone one here as used one and what they thought?

Will they damage the car? Are they as easy to fit as he says? Does it make much of a difference?

Yes Ive got one but I made it myself, its just 2 resistors and a switch and some wires.

I put a 2.2ohm resistor for the shift.....its not to harsh it will chirp but it wont
loop you around. The guy whos selling it is a guy here on the forums....
Yes it is very easy to fit and i made a tenth down the 1/4

Yeah im another happy shift kitter... made the kit myself as XR8GN3. 2 resistors, a box and a switch.

I dont use mine too often but fantastic changes when I do.

Wont hurt the box but will it's pretty rough when cruising (i.e. when there's a bit of slack in the tailshaft/diff). so i only use mine at wide open throttle.

Are these kits switchable? as in can u have it on when your giving it a bit of stick, then turn it off, or would you have 2 get under he car and disconect it? My mate has a VP SS (dickhead) with a shift kit and it gets really annoying, but chirpin third is fun.....

In the attached pic the lower of the two switches is on/off for the shift kit. Can put it wherever you want.
