Auto Trans Flush

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, the gasket on my auto transmission (ED) is leaking.
Am i correct in thinking that to replace it, I do the following:

1) Unbolt the pan, draining the fluid. (approx 4 litres)
2) replace gasket (possibly filter?) and rebolt pan
3) fill with the correct fluid through the dipstick.

If this is correct, great, if not, where am i wrong? Once i have checked the procedure, i will happily create a new doco with photos for the modifications/routine maintainence section.

Thanks a lot,

Re: Auto Trans Flush

Thats it, very simple process. Get a trans service kit from your local autoparts place, they cost around $30 and come with the gasket and filter. You should check and adjust the bands when you service it but that requires a special tool.
