XR6 Uterous Registered User Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: Glenorchy, Tasmania Posts: 32	BA XR6 Clutch Operation I have been having problems of having very little freeplay on the pedal, and recently I let the clutch out and it felt like the hydraulic were sticking. The clutch slipped for a second and then took up smoothly. I took the ute to the dealers yesterday and they couldn't find anything wrong, except, the clutch fluid is nearly black and really smelt burnt! (no, I don't ride the clutch or do burnouts, most of my running is on the highway) I was told they would check with Ford to see if this problem had been reported before and get back to me? Has anyone else experienced similar problems? All reply'sappreciated. CHEERS!
