My story begins a few weeks ago when I came back from sydney, I herd a whining noise comming from my gear box, so I had it looked at. The trans guy said it would it cost about $800 to fix the problem, I thought this can wait a bit cause there was no other problem except for the noise, the gearbox was still running fine, (now I realise I really should have fixed it then).
Then when I got to work today and pulled into the car park, I felt a small kind of bumpy clunky noise, wasn't sure what it was or where it was from, or whether I just ran over something, and it only happened once, so I thought meh! (boy was I wrong)
At my lunch break, I was bored so I thought went to get some fuel, no sign of the noise again, so I just went for a cruze. Just a bout 1 km up the road in forth gear there was this MASSIVE CRUNCH, CLUNCK and SHUDDER!!! There goes the box, *&^%!! scared the living piss out of me!! I pulled over, clutched in and was still able to shift through the gears, but when ever I try to drive any where, there is pretty bad noise coming from the 5 speed supra box!
only lucky thing is I live around the corner from where I work, and not too far from where this happened so I just walked home, called up work and told them what happened.
So here I am, at home, hoping I have enough money to fix it before uni starts.....
