Hey all.

I went to the drags the other day and found that my car makes a ****ing horrible vibration when i get to about 140-150km.

once i get below 120 again its fine??
i got my wheels n tyers balanced not long ago, i was thinking it might be my drive shaft???
It sounds like there is a heli over the top of me or somthing?

I agree tailshaft, may want to get a tail shaft loop, so you dont catapult yourself if it lets go :0)

The universals may just be worrn out also.

check your tyres for deformations, and yeah tailshaft and unijoints

I have P6000. no speed limits there.
I will check the unis.

Whats a tail shaft loop?

A loop around the tailshaft to catch it and hold it off the road in case of fron uni joint disintegration or the tailshaft snapping.

Id be getting the tailshaft balanced, so hopefully the Shaft loop wont be of use, but id get one.

i had a bit of same problem before it was the clutch ....although it wasn't slipping it wore out unevenly?!!? but it was only from 4500 rpm upwards ... i got a daikin or whatever they are called and it fixed the problem but it did shudder and make the heli noise

weird.
It is as i just hit 140.
I am going to get my wheels balanced on the car again and see if that helps, but if not i will get the tailshaft balanced.

Any1 know of prices?
