Re: Bolting 4 Speed Auto upto 351 windsor??
From my understanding, the 351w is still a small block, whereas the 351c is a big block. I'm pretty sure the only differences between the 302w and the 351w are either the stroke and/or bore. Actually some mention deck-height, but unsure exactly what that means.
If you can find out what the differences are, I'm fairly sure that it'll fit. Considering it had a c4 in there before I took it out, it should fit.
I bought the AOD from Peter at Gillroys Automatics for $1500. It's been reconditioned and had the upgraded clutch pack put in. I paid $200 for the stally (2200) and $90 for the flexplate (50z), but the flexplate is for the 5.0EFI HO that I've got in there as well. A flexplate for a carby 351 should be a 28z by memory. I'd sell it for $1500 (everything), or can work something out for a T5/supra alternative.
