CraigS288 Registered User Join Date: May 2005 Posts: 80	BTR 4 Speed Trans Just joined because I read some good info on the E series falcon sixes and for shift kitting the trans. I have a 95 EL falcon futura with a BTR 93 LE. Just had the trans serviced because it was running like crap. Changes gear beautifully when the trans fluid is cold. Once it is warm it bangs from one gear to the next, after the appropriate amount of slippage from the worn clutches. The gearbox shop suggested $2500 NZ for a full rebuild. When I said that I had a BTR 91 LE attached to a 92 EB falcon motor in my garage they were very reluctant to tell me if it could be swapped. Does anyone know if the two autos are interchangeable? I have the workshop manual for the 95 EL and the wiring diagram from the PCM unit. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 92 EB? I am hoping I can get away with changing the wiring loom from the auto trans and just get them to fit my spare. Any help is much appreciated.
