C10 to 351 Cleveland

Hi Guys,
I have a 351c which was followed buy a FMX. I have brought myself a C10 and am woundering how difficult will it be to assemble.
I have been told that the fmx runs the same plate at the rear of motor, and that the c10 will just bolt straight up, Is this right? Is there something about having the toque convetor pushed in? any help would be great!!!!!!!!

Thanks heaps.

Floyd.

fmx is stronger- also bigger , c4 is better than c10 also ,but you can convert c10 to c4
push converter onto trany and turn at same time , may need a jiggle - is that a word, to make sure its picked up the splines
if unsure you can do some measurements
when its on i cable tie it till its nearly in position

When pushing the converter on, jiggle it around until you hear 3 clicks.

C4 is better than C10,Why do you think that. I have been puting 400 plus hp throught my C10 and it has not hurt it at all i changed from a C4 because of reliability problems. I had blown up 4 of them.

Thing is a C4 is a C10. the only difference on a Clevo box is the filler tube. C10 = pan fill. C4 = case fill. If rebuilt (performance) everything internally is identical.

Just check with an auto shop to make sure the converters are the same spline setup. As far as I know the output shaft has a different spline between c4/c10 and FMX.
