Everyone says that it has to be a C9 but there not as common and are more expensive anyway. Ive seen it done on at least 3 cars so im sure its doable, the only question is how? The tailshaft from the T-5 even bolts straight up. The one i've got for sale came out of an XC. The shifter is different to the BW-35, as well as the flexplate and possibly the crossmember.
