am after the procedure for adjusting c4 linkage cable , if i adjust it in D i cant get it into 1st , i have a hurst shifter , but if i adjust it to be able to go into first it jumps forward in N when i start it

set it up with the box in park and shifter in park and should be right from there

i was told to do it in drive as it is in drive the most so it should be set there ,
