got another problem , was driving today and car kicked down from second to first and i heard a pop and lost all forward gears i have reverse thats it what do you think

i think it might be a band , box need to be removed to fix them hey i not too familiar with autos

check the shift linkage if ok, pull the pan and check for anything obviously broken, band, internal shift linkage, valve body parts,if not, unbolt the torque convertor from the engine, pull out the driveshaft and spin the converter around by hand. watch the tailshaft while you spin it a few times in each gear.
