Hi,
a buddy just asked me if there is any possibility to attach a GMs TH350 /400 to a 400cui ford. Currrently he tries to attach a C60 which seems to be too large and heavy.
any help apprecciated

Yes you can attach a GM trans..You need to use a JW ULTRABELL which are quite expensive..You cut off the GM bellhousing then bolt the new bell up to the pump bolts...You'd then need to get a convertor to suit.
Why do you not want to use the C6???

Thanks for the update, Meanwhile I convinced him to go with the C6, which seems to be the better choice anyway, as the GM wouldn't have been a really cheap standard solution.
