Hi, i was suppose to get a 3.45 LSD diff today.. but the damn wrecker had me goin he had one... but now the only choice i have is to get a 3.27 LSD...

i want to know what model falcons did 3.27 LSDs came out of and will i damage my gearbox with this diff? because the wrecker reckons it will...

How does a shorter ratio damage a gearbox? If anything it should put less strain on it.

A 3.27 LSD is probably going to be out of an EB II Fairmont Ghia. There may be a little work to put it in the EA but it should be worth it.

I think you need the lower trailing arms that came with the diff, oh and the tail shaft as well if you can, and can I ask how much they charging you for it.

I have a thread which shows the revs difference for different diffs for a 3 speed auto, its actaully a picture take a peek at my user gallery.

had to mod the mount to whichs the lower trailing arms fit (later model EB ones)

left some nice lines out of the driveway! hehehehe gotta lurv LSD!

got my diff for 350 fitted with matching tailshaft, lower control arms...
