change over diff for AU IRS?

I was wondering if there was a STRONG replacment diff and drive shafts available for the AU IRS (LSD of course). I don't have anything in mind now, but later down the track, I may have big plans with my car. I'd love to put 3.9's and a tougher diff and driveshafts to hold up to what I may do down the track. Thanks.

Just get your Borg Warner rebuild and the LSD packed nice and tight.

Re: change over diff for AU IRS?

I'm not quite sure but i am getting 3.9's fitted to my diff on the 4th of next month

Should only lift the revs @ 100kph by 360rpm but I reckon its going to make a big difference in accelleration. No more crazy 75kph out of first

Laminge has stock diff and auto. Just because he runs that doesn't mean it's suitable. I don't really have plans as of yet. I can alway dream. But the time will come where I think whther i should upgrade, or save the money I lose on upgrading and just spend it on making this car a beast.

Either way mate, if you upgrade or spend the money on your AU you will never get it back so you may as well do what you want, go on you know you wan't 12 sec AU.

I was thinking 12's actually mate. I was thinking i reckon id get 12's with a 347 stroker, TFS heads/cam/intake, 3.9's, higher stall auto, unichip. That shold see me there I would reckon.

Re: change over diff for AU IRS?

Diff shouldn't be a problem to at least 325rwkw, but I'd be going to series II half shafts.

If you're not driving a manual you're really just steering.

I like your way off thinking, if you do this it could be a problem for me though because then I'd want to do it as well, lol.
