I'm pretty sure that the diff in my EA is a 3.08 single spinner. I've been told that it will most likely have 25 spline axles. What's involved in changing to 28 spline? Is it going to be costly? I'm going to be upgrading my diff later this year and I'll need 28 spline axles to do it.
Liven it up a bit with a complete 28 spline, 4 pinion 3.45 diff from the EB. I t would get it goine nice. I think Holden VN onward has the same 28 spline centre.
My plan is to get a 28 spline, put in a 3.89 centre that a mate has lying around from a skyline, and stick in the LSD that he also has. Should be able to do the job nice and cheap this way. It should be very effective too! Would I need to buy anything other than the diff? eg. would my brakes etc fit on to the new diff fine? I'm not too cluey on this topic.
I too would of chose 3.7 or 3.9, but was assuming you were staying at 3.08. I'v got 3.89 in my xd's 9 inch and think it is a good ratio. I dont know 100% sure about your diff, but think all would be the same regarding brakes ect. Rgds Dion
