changing the gearbox oil

how do i got about changing the gearbox oil in my ef ll, im pretty sure there isnt a drain plug... i think im spose to take the pan off, and empty, then fill through the stick hole? anything else i should know?

If its a manual it will have a 8mm hex drain plug just below the fill plug on the driver's side, I have no idea about auto's though.

ED XR6 - Mock Dev1, EL Thermos, XH intake with K&N Panel Filter, DBA Slotted Discs, Pedders Saloon Racing suspension, Whiteline adjustable swaybars.
