Question Clutch advice

Hi all

Wondering if anyone can suggest a suitable alternative clutch to a hydraulic twin plate behind a 351 in an XC.

Been checking on replacement prices and have had a best price of $650.00 going all the way to over $900.00!

If there is a suitable alternative is it a straight swap or are we talking mods as well?

Thanks

You could use an 11" single plate, a lot harder on the the leg muscles but easier on the pocket. Not sure if you need to re-drill your flywheel to suit (you'd be getting it machined anyway I hope!).

I fitted a brand new PBR GT clutch kit to the xr, was $990 fitted (fitting is not cheap as there is a few hours worth of work in it). Feels great, pedal is a shade softer than before, but by no means sloppy. Pickup is spot on too.
