Re: clutch noise please help

when sitting at the lights, does it make a noise if you hold the clutch pedal all the way to the floor?

when was the last time the clutch was adjusted?

Sounds like you just need to replace the thrust bearing and adjust the clutch

Unless the cable's pulled through the firewall - have a look at the bulkhead?

Re: clutch noise please help

If the entry point is flexing at the fire wall, (sounds like yours is cracked) it would have the same effect as needing to adjust the clutch. I'd get it checked out ASAP as the longer you drive it like that the greater the chance of you being stuck without a clutch or damaging the gearbox by being forced to crunch gears.

Re: clutch noise please help

yeah - get the firewall fixed straight away, and also check your pedal box where the clutch mount is welded to it - they have a habit of tearing there too.
