Appreciate it if someone could help

Was driving ute to work this morning and noticed that the column shifter was flapping around and appears to have lost its spring loading. There is a pin through the top hole but it doesn't appeat to go all the way through the shifter arm and it isn't holding the arm straight. When I pushed a nail up from underneath it didn't lock the shifter down much at all and couldn't feel any spring loading. Also didn't appear that the bottom hole is drilled through to the top

It looks like I might need to fix this before I head home and would appreciate any help in how I can re-attach the shifter

OK - it has a 5/16" pin through the boss on the column and through the am. I have installed a bolt through until I can get a new pin

However it looks like there should be some form of spring ot anti-rattle washer missing as the shifter is a bit loose

ANyone had one of these apart before?
