lev2002 Registered User Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 1	Converting rear wheel drive to front wheel I have a 2002 Ford Explorer V6 Rear Wheel Drive truck. My question is, am I able to convert my truck from a rear wheel drive to a front wheel or 4x4? Any suggestions? Last edited by lev2002; 10-21-2006 at 06:26. Reason: forgot to mention V6

Dr. Disque Registered User Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 288	Re: Converting rear wheel drive to front wheel FWD would be largely impossible. 4X4 conversion would be possible, but you'd need nearly a complete Explorer 4X4 drivetrain and suspension. It would be cheaper to just sell your truck and buy a 4X4.
