Got a Cortina Ghia 250 Crossflow..

Just wondering, can I fit a 4 Speed Auto Gearbox to the car, and if so, what type of Gearbox would fit it?

To my knowledge no four speed will be a direct fit, as 250 block is different to 3.9/4.0. You may be able to get an adapter plate kit. You may have control issues, ie TC lockup, etc.

You should be able to get a bell housing off castlemaines,

As far as control, you can use the ECU out of an EA Falcon to run the auto. The only addition would be a throttle position sensor, in order for it to properly kick down etc.
The speedo will not operate, due to it being mechanical.

Or what about a 4 speed AOD from usa, they use them in mustangs behind aussie sixes.
