BA Pursuit, travelling in first gear, very light throttle up a small incline at approx 1/4 to 1/3 steering lock my diff (assume it's the diff) starts banging and clunking. First time I thought my spare wheel was bouncing on the ground under the car it was so loud.
This sounds similar to the diff issues the AU had where I guess some LSD cones are grabbing sporadically.
Now the question - anyone had this on their BA?

Pete, mine had it's 3000k today, and i complained about diff whine, the service guy said it isn't "chattering" is it ?. I said no it is whining, he said some of them have a problem with chatter. To fix the chatter they put in a different type of oil and add some friction modifiers to the oil. My diff is getting ordered (six week wait) and completely replaced (complete assembly).
