Just checked out my EA S-Pac Series 1 MPFI 3 Speed Auto, and its got a 2.77 diff(checked the diff plate) how do i know if its got LSD without rippin a burnout??? is there like a code on the diff plate?

hehe just rip a burnout then you'll know......

nah i think its easy to find out i think something to do with the colour of the diff plug...LSD have an orange plug i think....... dont quote me on it tho

usually they have a tag hanging off the diff fill plug.

thanks for the replies, cant do a burnout as its still my dads car 4 a few more months, have 2 check out the colour of the diff plug, checked the tag and it says its 2.77 however dosent say if its LSD or not is there a specific code on the plate for LSD?

if it has a grey tag hanging of the diff bolt then it is an lsd. Mine has this and I have checked the naughty way to confirm it

Whats there to say abut the 2.77? It cant take any other diff gears, it has 25 spine axles which are weaker than 28's, it'll be a 2 pinion diff centre which is also weaker compared to the 4 pinion.

hey fellaz, ive got a 2.77 lsd aswell in my eb but when i chuck a skid on like the grass, only one line appears sumtimes... why is this?
