diff leak and backlash

i have a diff leak and i have been waiting for a month and i still have got it yet! has anyone had to wait that long? ford said that they have a new update diff. it has new bearings that are tighter and stronger then the old diff, this will apparently stop all the backlash that i have been having. if i ever get it!!

frown Re: diff leak and backlash

I am experiencing delays in getting access to my dealer to fix a nagging click in the front end of my XR6, but interesting you should mention the backlash I have been noticing a significant amount of this in my manual as well as a lot of vibration and harshness when in fifth and sitting on 2400rpm's.
