Dont see why you would wanna do that anyway. Its already got a 3:45 ratio on it which is good enough. Without substantial mods, i reckon its not totally worth it

do you want higher ratio or lower? are you after better fuel consumption? personally i wouldnt go ant lower than 3.45 or it will just drink the fuel and reving to hard on the open road.
if you want a higher ratio im sure there are plenty of people willing to do you a swap to get hold of a 3.45 ratio

ive stroked and supercharged the car, so i was thinking about putting a lower ratio in it to get a bit better acceleration.

You should see good improvements with something around 3.7-3.9 ratio. Shouldn't have a large impact on fuel consumption, but it will drink slightly more. A good saying in USA is don't fear the gear, becuase it is one of the easiest ways to improve performance.

Agreed EDXR8, great way to improve performance, 3.45 is probably ok for a stocky but something modified thats revs will always be better off performance wise with numerically higher ie 3.7, 3.9 ratio. In my opinion, the performance advantage outweighs any fuel consumption downside. If its been stroked and supercharged, I presume fuel consumption isn't priority 1 ? If it is too much of a problem, 6 speeds with a couple of overdrives !!! my 2 cents

i have 3.45s in my sprint and i think 3.7s or 3.9s would pep things up a bit.

if your only gripe is fuel economy go sell your V8 and buy a barina! :p

If its stroked, dont you want it to rev lower?

ie larger stroke = lower redline rpm

therefore you would be better off with 3.2's etc

Regards

well i dont want the car to drink like a fish........ but the car does about 300 - 400k's a tank so she's not to bad. Im thinking about the 3.7 or maybe 3.9 how much more do u think she will drink?? Im also already saving up for the 6 speed because this is already my second box. But for now ill do the ratios
