Which do you think is the one to get for my manual BA XR8?!

3.45 or 3.7?!

I do do a lot of highway driving. but enjoy pushing the car in the city and for drags...

need some help with this decision...

I'd go the 3.7.
If fuel economy was the main factor, you wouldn't have bought the XR8!!!
If you went with the 3.45, you would always wonder how would the 3.7's go.

I wouldn't go lower than 3.45 in a 5 speed manual, unless you regularly come across beer trucks that need pulling off cliffs.

personally if i had a BA xr8 5-speed i'd be going 3.9s to get that 1.8 tonne moving...

Two things: 1) 3.9 ratio gears are not available in M86.
2)Off the line, a BA V8 5 speed manual with 3.9 would be the same as an AU XR8 T5 with 4.46 diff gears.
