does anyone know what diff ratio's are availiable to suit the 78 series diffs? do the 75 series ratio's fit the 78's?

so the 75's bolt straght in to the 78, i've had mixed opinions from several diff speciallist. have you put a 75 into a 78, if so did you have to machine anything or did you just have to get the center shimmed up to suit?
