I'm looking for the best diff swap without having to go to a 9 inch. I'm running a torquey 351/c4/2500 hi stall to a 2.77 LSD disc. I used to have the 2.92, but swapped for the 2.77 because the plan was to build a tame cruiser.
The 351 is making more power then I expected, so I'd like to have some quarter mile fun, hence the need for a ratio swap, but I drive the car every day, so I don't want to go too radicle. The cam will probably only hit 5000 anyway.
I've heard there are 2 splines available for the Borg Warner diff, 25 and 28. I'm interested in the 3.23 out of an EA-EF? Will the entire diff (disc to disc) bolt straight in? Any suggestions guys?
