Which diff to which V8

Someone here asked me if i knew which diff went into a XB302 so heres everything ive found
XR Borg Warner 25-spline two pinion
XT (not GT) B/W 25-spline two pinion
XT GT Ford eight inch
XW 302 B/W 25-spline two pinion
XW 351 Ford nine inch
XY 302 B/W 25-spline two-pinion
XY 351 Ford nine inch
XA 302 B/W 25-spline two pinion
XA 351 Ford nine inch
XB 302 B/W 25-spline two pinion
XB 351 Ford nine inch
XC 302 B/W 25-spline two pinion
XC 351 Ford nine inch
XD 302 B/W 28-spline four pinion
XD 351 Ford nine inch
XE 302 B/W 25-spline two pinion
XE 351 B/W 28-spline four pinion
EB,ED,EF,EL 302 B/W 28-spline four pinion

Geez..............6.50:1!! Car's top speed would be about 45km/h, but you'd get there bloody fast!! lol

Not sure about the XB... but no XD's came from the factory with 9" diffs, not even the ESP's.

Sorry fellas it came straight from the Ford Godbook, infact 2 separate books list it as so..
Steet Machine Tough 302's & 351's Workkshop series #2
Ford A technical guide #11
Also manuals from XRGT's to XBV8's were toploaders anything else was either B/W single rail or auto BW35 C4 or FMX

Well - Im afraid it isn't so....
Even the late XBGT's missed out on top loader and the only XD and XE 9" you will find are ones that have been made up from the aftermarket sector. I have been wrecking V8 Fords for a lot of yours and as an authorised Ford parts seller I can tell you that what you read in print just isn't always true.

The diff I blew up at the fordforums drag day last year was a 25 spline BW LSD from a 302 powered 1979 XD falcon.
