Hi everyone
Have a question..I have a 96 LTD with some noticable side to side play on the pinion assy.The diff is noisy, not too bad but its there, great car otherwise, it's a shame the diff is letting it down.
Where can I get a oil seal, spacer and bearing kit at a good price via mail order? (I think it's a LSD). Are replacing these components within the scope of do-ability at the home garage? Do I need special presses etc?. I am reasonable with fixing autos but have not tackled a diff before

You'll need a hydraulic press to get the pinion bearings off. Otherwise, sorry I don't know where to get them. It's not an easy job to do, but with the right equipment it is acheivable.
