Hey Guys...

when taking off from a standstill my AU Diff whines slightly...is that normal?? my old XF used to whine a lot as well...but the AU does it only from take off. Anything i can do? or is it one of those falcon things .... hehe

Shouldn't whine,try changing the diff oil and add a diff additive.If that doesn't work turn the radio up.

yeh mine whines extreme.i think it is a ford thing.All the AUs ive seen all sound the same.I did change the diff oil and put in the stuff they put in the lsd diff.Didnt make any difference.

You sure it's the diff? The BTR autos have a loud whine in first gear.

Could possibly be the Trans...it is a BTR 4 Speed Auto..

So its something i shouldnt worry about? The car is under warranty at the moment and if there are any issues i want to get the sorted :)
